Green salad with ostrich steak and egg
A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: poultry, eggs, broccoli (in small florets), sugar snaps (cleaned), green asparagus tips, ostrich steaks (at room temperature), olive oil with garlic flavor and chili pepper, green apple (eg granny smith), grated horseradish (jar), watercress (75 g), lamb's lettuce (75 g) and garlic dressing.

Eggs boil in approx. 8 minutes. Let eggs scare, peel and cut into segments. Meanwhile, cook in pan with little water and salt broccoli florets, sugar snaps and asparagus tips in approx. 4 minutes. Rinse vegetables in colander with cold water and let them drain.

Grill pan or frying pan with non-stick coating. Finish steaks and coat with oil. Tender steaks in approx. 5 min. Cut the steak into slices. Meanwhile, wash apple, remove the cores and cut apple into thin slices. Swirl horseradish through dressing. In a salad bowl, mix watercress and lamb's lettuce with half of the dressing. Combine rest of dressing with green vegetables. Spread lettuce and vegetables over four plates. Place slices of steak on top and garnish with apple and egg wedges. Tasty with darkly sliced dark wholemeal bread.
