A tasty Italian recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, red pepper (seeds and seed strips removed), garlic (finely chopped), dried oregano, extra virgin olive oil, lamb chops, orange (scrubbed), fennel tubers and cluster tomatoes (halved).

Directions

  1. Finely chop the red pepper. In a mortar, rub half of the garlic, 1 tablespoon of oregano, the red pepper and salt to taste into a paste. Mix in 2 tablespoons of oil. Brush the chops with them, cover them and let them marinate for half an hour at room temperature.
  2. Preheat the oven to 225 ° C. Grate the orange from the orange peel, squeeze out the fruit. Cut the fennel tubers into 6 parts each and place them in the oven dish, with the tomatoes in between. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon orange zest and the rest of the oregano and garlic. Add salt and pepper, drizzle with 1 tablespoon orange juice and the rest of the oil. Roast the fennel in the oven for 30 minutes. Scoop occasionally. Heat the grill pan and grill the chops in 4 minutes brown on the outside and rosé inside. Turn halfway. Serve with the fennel and for example pasta.
