Cut crusts of bread. Pour vinegar and 1/2 tablespoon water into deep plate. Soak short bread here. Pel garlic. Remove twigs of basil and mint. Meg in mortar or food processor to puree bread, garlic, pickles, basil, fresh mint and olive oil.

Season salsa verde with pepper and salt.

Heat up grill pan. Brush steaks on both sides with remaining olive oil. Grill steaks in a hot grill pan in two to five minutes to taste red, pink or well done. Turn halfway. Serve steak with salsa verde, oven fries and broccoli.
