Homemade slavink with hot lightning


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, white bread (old, without crust), milk, nutmeg (freshly grated), curry powder, half-to-half-minced, smoked bacon (pack 125 g), coarse mustard, potatoes (floury), sour apples (eg gold puret), onion (chopped) and butter.

Directions

  1. Put the bread in a deep plate and pour the milk over it.
  2. Squeeze the bread and mix it with the nutmeg, the curry powder and salt and pepper to taste through the mince.
  3. Roll 4 equal rolls of minced meat.
  4. Put 2 slices of bacon in the length side by side, let them overlap by about 1 cm.
  5. Brush them thinly with mustard and roll the bacon over the mince.
  6. Store in the refrigerator until use.
  7. Peel the potatoes and cut them into pieces.
  8. Peel the apples, remove the cores and cut them into cubes.
  9. Boil the potatoes with the onion and apples in 20 minutes.
  10. Heat 25 g of butter in a frying pan and fry the croquettes for 15 to 20 minutes on medium heat.
  11. Times regularly.
  12. Pour the potatoes, and leave a bottom of 1/2 cm of water in the pan.
  13. Add the rest of the butter and puree to a puree.
  14. Season with pepper.
  15. Serve the hot lightning at the croquette.
  16. Tasty with green beans..
