Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
  2. Put the hazelnuts in the baking dish and grill golden brown in approx. 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool on a plate.
  3. Melt the butter on low heat in a saucepan.
  4. Put the flour, sugar, baking soda and salt in a large bowl and mix.
  5. Make a well in the middle of the flour mixture and pour the buttermilk and melted butter into it. Beat the egg and add.
  6. Mix with a mixer with dough hooks 3 min. To a cohesive, sticky dough.
  7. Add the hazelnuts and raisins and mix with the mixer until they are evenly distributed over the dough.
  8. The dough is now sticky and holds the middle between batter and dough. Pour the dough onto a flour-sprinkled worktop.
  9. Sprinkle the dough with flour and form a roll of bread.
  10. Place the dough on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper and cut it crosswise with a serrated knife.
  11. Fry the bread in 40-45 min. Golden brown and done. If you tap the bread and it sounds hollow, then it is done. Eat the bread warm or at room temperature.
