Cut the crusts from the bread. Spread with butter. Cut the mozzarella into slices and the tomatoes into strips. Place the parma ham, mozzarella and tomato strips on half of the bread slices.

Cover with the rest of the paraham and the rest of the bread. Put the bread in a toasted sandwich (or frying pan) and bake until brown. Divide the lettuce over the plates and sprinkle with dressing. Cut the bread and put it on the lettuce.
