Lamb chops with mint peas
A nice Mediterranean recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: meat, garlic, olive oil, cumin seeds, dried rosemary, lamb chops (a 4 pieces), garden peas (extra fine (a 450 g), frozen)), mint ((15 g), only the leaves) and red wine vinegar.

Finely chop 1 clove of garlic and mix with 25 ml of oil, the cumin seeds, rosemary and pepper. Rub the lamb chops with this mixture and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

Cut 2 cloves of garlic into slices and cook with the peas for 3 minutes in water with salt. Drain and rinse cold under running water.

Light the barbecue or heat the grill pan. Sprinkle the lamb chops with salt and grid for 6 minutes on the barbecue or in the grill pan. Turn halfway. Let rest for 5 minutes under aluminum foil or a lid.

Meanwhile, put the fresh mint in a measuring cup or the bar of the hand blender and add 75 ml of oil and the peas. Grind with the hand blender to puree and mix in the vinegar, pepper and salt. Serve with the lamb chops.
