Lenticchie in umido (stewed lentils)
A tasty Italian recipe. The side dish contains the following ingredients: meat, red onion, baking bacon, sage leaves (from bag fresh Italian spice mix 20 g), olive oil, lentils (400 g rinsed) and coarsely ground black pepper.

Peel and chop onions.

Slices of bacon and sage into strips.

Heat 1 tbsp oil in pan and fry onion, bacon and sage gently for 5 min.

Lentils in colander and rinse with cold water.

Prepare the lentils and 2 tbsp water through the onion mixture.

Place the lid on the pan and simmer for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Reduce the linseed dish in a warm serving dish.

Drip with oil and sprinkle with black pepper.

Delicious with baked pork or veal..
