Lentil dish with ham
A tasty Italian recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, blonde lentils, winter carrot, onion, garlic, celery, fresh parsley, tomatoes, red pepper, olive oil, white wine, bay leaves, ham, salt and pepper.

Rinse the lentils for about 1 hour according to the instructions. Parsley finely cut. Peel onion and cut very finely. Wash celery and cut into very fine pieces. Carrot wash and cut very fine. Slice garlic and finely chop. Clean pepper and cut into wafer-thin strips. Tart into tomatoes, immerse in boiling water for a few seconds, rinse under cold water and skinn. Halve tomatoes, remove seeds and cut flesh into small cubes.

Heat oil in a frying pan. Roast onion, celery, carrot and garlic for about 5 minutes. Quenching with wine. Drain the lentils and add to fried vegetables with pepper and tomatoes. Add some water and bay leaf and let it cook for approx. 40 minutes covered. Dice the ham and finally stir with lentils through lentils. Season with salt and pepper.
