Lentils with grilled salmon


A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, blonde lentils (pack 500 g), fresh thyme, bay leaves, salmon fillet (in 4 pieces), olive oil, shallots (chopped), garlic (finely chopped), red wine vinegar, lemon (in parts) and decoration sauce (lemon mayonnaise (150 ml)).

Directions

  1. Cook the lentils with 1 sprig of thyme and the bay leaves in 25 minutes in plenty of water until al dente.
  2. Drain and remove the bay leaves and the thyme.
  3. Brush the salmon fillets with half the oil.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Heat the grill pan and grill the salmon for 5 minutes.
  6. Turn halfway.
  7. The salmon is still rosé inside.
  8. If you do not like rosé, grill a little longer.
  9. In the meantime, heat the remaining oil in a large frying pan and fry the shallots in 2 minutes light brown.
  10. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
  11. Ris the leaves of the rest of the sprigs of thyme and put them together with the lentils in the pan.
  12. Warm everything for a while and season with the red wine vinegar and salt and pepper.
  13. Spoon the lentils on a plate, put the salmon and lemon on top.
  14. Decorate the plate with the decoration sauce.
  15. Tasty with broccoli..
