Bring 75 ml water to the boil with the caster sugar and let the sugar melt over a very low heat. Allow the sugar syrup to cool.

Puree the pulp of the mangoes and add the lime juice.

Mix the fruit puree with the sugar syrup and add the cardamom or cinnamon powder for a special taste.

Fill the molds with it. Freeze 3-4 hours.
