Meatballs in beer sauce


A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, old white bread, milk, egg, half-to-half minced, nutmeg, breadcrumbs, butter, fine soup vegetables (150 g), white beer (eg Wieckse Witte), cooking cream and sharp mustard.

Directions

  1. Despatching bread, cutting into pieces and soaking in milk. In bowl of bread and egg knead by mince. Chop minced herbs with pinch nutmeg, salt and pepper and twist 20-24 balls. Spread breadcrumbs on flat plate and roll meatballs through them.
  2. Heat butter in frying pan, meatballs on high heat around brown bowls. Put low heat and meatballs in 10-15 min. Cook meatballs on a warm dish and keep warm under aluminum foil. Drain excess frying fat from the pan and fry soup vegetables in the remaining frying fat for approx. 5 min. Mix beer, cooking cream and mustard with vegetables. Sauce over high heat in 1-2 min. And season with salt and pepper. Create sauce over meatballs. Tasty with mashed potatoes and broccoli.
