Meatballs in tomato sauce
A tasty recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, brown rice (pack 400 g), olive oil, Dutch beef meatballs (about 375 g), onions (chopped), mushrooms ((250 g), in quarters), red pepper (in pieces), tomato cubes (400 g) and sour cream (125 ml).
Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package.
Meanwhile, heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the meatballs in brown for 3 minutes. Take the balls out of the pan and fry the onions for 3 minutes in the frying fat. Add the mushrooms and peppers and cook for 5 minutes.
Add the tomatoes and bring to the boil. Put the meatballs back in the pan, put the lid on and let cook for 10 minutes on low heat. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve the meatballs with a spoon of sour cream and rice. Sprinkle with a little extra paprika.
