Mediterranean stick with cheese


A nice Mediterranean recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, spiced ribs with garlic and rosemary (potatoes 600 g, frozen), ham-pieces (diced), olive oil, onions (in rings), tomato puree (70 g), dried oregano, cucumber (in thin slices) and white cheese cubes (a 200 g).

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 ° C. Prepare the ribs in the oven according to the instructions on the package.
  2. In the meantime, baste the meat on the 8 skewers and sprinkle the skewers with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the skewers for 4 min. Remove from the pan.
  3. Fry in the same shortening the onion rings for 6 min. Until they are light brown. Stir in the tomato puree and cook for another 1 min. Add 150 ml water, the oregano and salt and pepper to taste. Bring to boil.
  4. Turn the heat down. Place the skewers between the onions and roast the meat with the lid on the pan for 10 minutes until done.
  5. Put the skewers on 4 plates. Serve with the ribs and the cucumber. Crumble the cheese over it. Tasty with cooked chicory.
