The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, master beef (Surinamese salt meat) (or fish or chicken fillet), onions (chopped), oil, garlic (chopped), red pepper (chopped), fresh ginger root (finely chopped), ground turmeric (koenjit) ), bok choy (in thin strips), tomato puree (70 g), basmati rice, fish stock (from tablet), kidney beans ((200 g), drained), tiger prawns (frozen and bag at 500 g).

Directions

  1. Cut salt meat into small cubes. Place in colander and rinse well for 1 min. Boil the meat in pan with low water and cook until done in 20 minutes. Drain the meat and pat dry. Fry in oiled pan with non-stick coating for 1 min. Salt, garlic, red pepper, ginger root and turmeric 1 min. Stir in tomato paste and rice, add stock and bring to the boil. Let simmer for 10 minutes with lid on pan. Allow to cool and set in a refrigerator.
  2. Reheat rice with salt meat on the flame distributor. Rinse kidney beans in colander. Fry shrimps, bok choy and kidney beans by adding rice mixture and heat until cooked to shrimps.
