Mozzarella in carrozza
A tasty Italian recipe. The lunch contains the following ingredients: fish, mozzarella, bread (uncut (eg pain de campagne)), milk, eggs, anchovy fillets ((tin can of 46 g) in thin strips), dried oregano (or fresh (from bag Ital. spice mix) finely chopped), flour and extra virgin olive oil.

Dab the mozzarella dry and cut the bread rolls into 8 slices.

Cut 8 thin slices of the bread.

Baptize the slices of bread one by one in the milk, but do not let them get too wet.

Beat the eggs in a deep plate with some salt.

Place 4 slices of bread on a shelf and place 2 slices of mozzarella on each.

Divide the anchovies oregano over it and sprinkle some (freshly ground) pepper.

Put the other slices of bread on it.

Roll the sandwiches through the flour and then pass them through the beaten egg.

Heat the oil in a skillet and fry the sandwiches (with 2 at a time) golden brown in 5 minutes, turning them halfway.
