Nut cake with salty caramel
Macadamia nuts, caramel and sea salt as ingredients for a delicious winter cake.

Preheat the oven to 170 ° C.

Put the flour, almond flavor, caster sugar and the table salt in the food processor. Add the butter into cubes and grind to a crumbly dough.

Grease the cake tin with the butter. Spread the dough evenly over the mold and press firmly.

Fry the cake base in a browned oven for 20 minutes in the middle of the oven. Allow to cool for 30 minutes.

Put the syrup with the caster sugar and butter in a thick-bottomed pan and bring to the boil.

Let the mixture boil gently for 5 minutes and then stir in the nut mixture.

Spoon the mixture into the cake base and bake the cake for another 10 minutes in the middle of the oven.

Sprinkle with the sea salt flakes and allow the cake to cool for at least 4 hours. Yummy! .
