Cook the penne according to the instructions on the package.

Cut the broccoli into florets, peel the stem and cut into pieces. Cook in 5 minutes until al dente and rinse with cold water. Chop the onion.

Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onion. Add the ham and broccoli and cook for 2 minutes.

Add the pesto and crème fraîche and warm through. Serve the penne with the sauce and cheese.
