Patatas bravas with steak and broccoli
Patatas bravas from the oven, served with broccoli, steak and mushrooms.
Clean the potatoes and cook them in the peel for 10 minutes. Drain, allow to cool slightly and cut the potatoes into pieces. Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the potatoes in 10-12 min. Brown and done.
Sprinkle with the paprika powder, the oregano, thyme and salt and scoop.
In the meantime, cook the broccoli in water with salt until tender in 8 minutes.
Meanwhile, pat the steaks dry and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Heat the butter in a large frying pan and fry, as soon as the bubbles of the butter have disappeared, the steaks to taste rare, medium or welldone (3, 4 or 6 min.).
Let the steaks rest on a hot plate under a lid for 5 minutes. Cut the mushrooms into slices. Bake at that time the mushrooms in the remaining fat.
Divide the steaks over the plates and scoop the mushrooms. Put the broccoli and patatas bravas. Tasty with ketchup and mayonnaise.
