Directions

  1. Wash the split peas in a sieve. Put in a large pan the split peas, pork chop, bacon cubes and water. Add the bay leaf, pepper and possibly salt.
  2. Bring to the boil and let it boil gently for about 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  3. Potato peel, wash and cut into cubes. Add pea soup vegetables and potato cubes to soup.
  4. Boil the soup gently for about 30 minutes. Stir frequently. Take smoked sausages from the packaging and add and heat up for about 10 minutes on low heat.
  5. Take the pork chop and the smoked sausage out of the soup. Remove the bay leaf. Cut the pork loin into pieces of the bone. Cut the smoked sausage into slices.
  6. Stir the meat and the sausage through the soup. Season with pepper and possibly some salt.
