Directions

  1. In a large soup pot, bring the chicken frying sticks to the boil with one and a half liters of water, the chicken stock and the onion.
  2. Let it cook for 1 hour until the chicken meat falls off the bone.
  3. Remove the frying sticks from the soup pot, let them cool, remove all the meat and cut into cubes.
  4. Stir in the peanut butter and sambal with a ladle of cooking liquid in a bowl.
  5. Put the chicken meat back in the soup pan with the peanut butter mixture and the bacon cubes.
  6. Taste the soup: if you find it too spicy, you can stir in some extra spoons of peanut butter.
  7. Not tough enough.
  8. Then add some sambal.
  9. Add the bean sprouts and the allspice powder and simmer for another 10 minutes.
  10. Serve in soup bowls..
