Peas with cabbage lettuce and shallots
A tasty Dutch recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: cabbage lettuce, shallots, butter, peas (chillies, a 200 g), sugar, bay leaf, thyme, dry white wine and parsley.

Remove leaf lettuce leaves, remove stiff inner leaves.

Wash in plenty of water and pat dry.

Cut into strips.

Slit small leaves into pieces.

Cut shallots and cut into quarters.

Melt butter in a frying pan and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add peas and lettuce and fry for 1 min.

Add sugar, salt and pepper, bay leaf, thyme and wine and vegetables with lid to pan in 10 min.

In the meantime, add a little water if necessary.

Take the pan of fire, remove the bay leaf and thyme and cut the parsley above it.

Mix the vegetable mixture.

Tasty with steamed fish and boiled potatoes..
