Pepper steak and stew
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, potatoes (kilo 'something crumbly, peeled), pepper steak (a 2 pieces), olive oil, red onions (in thin half rings), herb butter (a 100 g) and endive (finely chopped (500 g)).

Cook the potatoes according to the instructions on the package. Drain and collect the cooking liquid. Meanwhile, season the pepper steaks thinly on both sides with some oil.

Heat the grill pan and roast the pepper steaks on both sides brown and inside rosé in 4 min. Per side. Heat the rest of the oil in a frying pan and fry the onion rings 2-3 min.

Add 25 g herb butter to the potatoes and stamp with the puree pestle to a coarse puree, add some cooking water if it is too dry. Put the endive and the onion rings through. Place 1 tbsp herb butter on each pepper steak. Serve with the endive stew.
