Pita's with steak tartar, lettuce and paprika salsa


Pita bread with steak tartare, mixed salad and a salsa of green peppers, red onion, parsley, jalapeño pepper and lime.

Directions

  1. Halve the peppers, remove the stalk and seeds and cut the bell pepper into cubes of ½ x ½ cm (brunoise).
  2. Chop the onion and finely chop the parsley. Remove the shank from the jalapeño pepper and cut the pepper into wafer thin rings.
  3. Grate the green skin of the lime, halve the fruit and press half.
  4. Mix the pepper, onion, parsley, jalapeño pepper, the lime zest and juice, pepper and salt in a bowl into a salsa.
  5. Sprinkle the tartar with the celery salt and pepper. Heat the grill pan without oil or butter and grill the meat for 12 minutes. Turn halfway.
  6. In the meantime, prepare the pita bread according to the instructions on the packaging and mix the salad with the salad dressing.
  7. Cut the tartar into slices. Cut the buns open and fill each bun with some lettuce, the tartar and 2 tbsp salsa.
  8. Serve with the rest of the lettuce and salsa separately.
