Slice the garlic. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and gently fry the garlic. Scoop through the tomato sauce (from the pizza dough package). Season with the oregano, pepper and salt.

Peel the shallots. Cut the shallots into quarters. Heat the oil in a pan with a thick bottom. Spoon the shallots with the sugar and vinegar through them. Pour in the water and smother the shallots covered in 10 minutes until tender.
