Bring the milk to the boil.

Stir in the oatmeal and cook on low heat for 2 minutes.

Remove the pan from the heat and leave for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile cut the banana into slices and chop the walnuts coarsely. Divide the oatmeal over the bowls and garnish the oatmeal with the banana and walnuts.
