Cut the onion into rings and the chicken fillet into pieces. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onion rings 3 min.

Press the garlic above and add the Provençal herbs. Add the chicken and fry briefly. Season with salt and pepper.

Clean the peppers and cut into strips. Cut the fennel bulb into pieces, remove the hard core and add the fennel together with the peppers.

Leave to cook for 8 minutes with the lid on the pan over medium heat until the chicken is done. Do not let the vegetables get too soft.

Squeeze the lemon and pour it into the pan. Add the capers. Sprinkle with basil leaves.
