Real Italian spaghetti bolognese
Italian spaghetti bolognese with celery, carrots and breakfast bacon.

Chop the onion, grate the carrot and cut the celery into bows. Cut the breakfast bacon into strips.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and gently fry the onion, carrot and celery for 3 minutes. Add the bacon and minced meat and stir-fry for 5 minutes until the mince is free.

Add the tomato puree and oregano and cook for 2 minutes. Pour in the wine and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Add the stock and tomato cubes and bring to the boil. Turn the heat down and simmer for 15 minutes.

Season with pepper and salt.

Cook the spaghetti al dente according to the instructions on the package. Drain (do not rinse with cold water!) And spread over the plates.

Spoon the sauce over the spaghetti.
