                            Red beef stew
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, beef ribs (at room temperature), olive oil, onions (chopped), full red wine, garlic (finely chopped), red pesto (a 190 g), bay leaves, rosemary, celery (a 40 g) and beef broth tablet.

Directions
- 
                                Cut the meat into pieces of 2 cm and sprinkle with pepper and little salt.
- 
                                Heat the oil in a thick-bottomed pan and fry the meat over medium heat in 3 min.
- 
                                Brown.
- 
                                Take the meat out of the pan.
- 
                                Fry the onion in the remaining shortening for 5 minutes.
- 
                                Put the meat back in the pan and add the wine, garlic, pesto, bay leaves, rosemary, celery and the bouillon tablet.
- 
                                Leave to simmer for as long as possible with the lid on the pan for 2 hours.
- 
                                Check occasionally if there is enough moisture in the pan.
- 
                                Add a dash of hot water if necessary.
- 
                                Remove the bay leaves and the sprigs of rosemary just before serving.
- 
                                Sprinkle with extra finely chopped celery if necessary..
