Red cabbage packages
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, red cabbage, solid apple (eg elstar or jonagold), peeled), ground beef, fresh dill ((a 15 g bag), finely chopped), red wine, meat broth (from tablet), liquid honey and red onions (in thin rings).

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.

Loosen 8 nice large leaves from the coals, cut away the hard grain and allow them to become supple in plenty of boiling water in 2-3 minutes.

Drain them in a colander.

Cut the apple into thin slices.

Mix the minced beef with the dill and salt and pepper to taste and form 8 rolls of 4-5 centimeters long.

Spread the cabbage leaves, divide the apple slices over it and put a chopped roll on it.

Fold the leaves into packages and put them in the baking dish.

Mix 100 ml of red wine with the stock and the honey and pour it into the dish.

Let the packets in the oven be done in 30 minutes, baste them regularly with cooking liquid.

In the meantime, season the onion rings with salt to taste and 50 ml of wine, leave them to stand for 30 minutes and let them drain.

Distribute the onion rings over the packages from the oven.
