Ingredients
Directions
-
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Turn off the heat when ⅔ of the butter is melted. The rest of the butter melts automatically.
-
Break the eggs over a bowl and beat frothy with a mixer. Add the sugar and beat until a firm light yellow egg foam. This takes approx. 5 min.
-
Sift the self-raising flour over the egg foam and pour in the melted butter. Spatula together.
-
Clean the orange. Grate the orange skin of the orange above and squeeze out the fruit. Add the juice to the batter and mix through.
-
Place the paper cupcake molds in the muffin mold and fill the molds for ⅔ with the batter.
-
Bake the cupcakes in about 20 minutes until golden brown and cooked in the middle of the oven. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely in 1 hour.
-
Put the glaze in a bowl and mix in the red and yellow dye.
-
Brush the cupcakes with the orange glaze and make a crown of silver pearls on each cupcake.
