Salad stew with shoarma meat


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, crumbly potatoes, iceberg lettuce, shoarma meat, oil, milk (warm), butter and freshly ground black pepper.

Directions

  1. Peel the potatoes, cut them into pieces, wash them and cook them in 20 minutes.
  2. Remove the underside of the iceberg lettuce heads, cut the heads in four and then into strips 1-2 cm wide.
  3. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the shawarma meat while browning and cooking.
  4. Drain the potatoes and grate them coarsely with the milk and butter.
  5. Season the puree with salt and pepper.
  6. Spoon the salad into portions through the mash and warm the stew on low heat until the lettuce starts to shrink.
  7. Spoon the stew into four deep plates and spread the shawarma meat over it..
