Savory endive stew with walnuts
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, potatoes (slightly crumbly, peeled), smoked sausage (350 g), thin bacon strips (duobakje a 250 g), onions (chopped), milk, cream cheese (garlic and herbs (150 g)), sliced endive (400 g) and walnuts (55 g).

Cut the potatoes into pieces and boil them with salt to taste in a small piece of water with the lid on the pan in 20-25 minutes.

Heat the smoked sausage according to the instructions on the packaging.

Fry the bacon in a frying pan with non-stick coating on a low heat until golden brown and crispy, remove the bacon from the pan and fry the onion until golden brown in the remaining bacon fat.

Heat the milk.

Drain the potatoes and grind them with a puree rammer.

Mix the milk, boursin, bacon, onion and endive.

Warmly through well.

Sprinkle the stew with the walnuts and serve with the smoked sausage..
