Seafood pilaf
A nice Mediterranean recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, onion, garlic, fennel, olive oil, fruits de mer, cooked mussels, rice, oregano, fish bouillon, ouzo (or pernod (or other aniseed, liquor)) and salt and pepper.

Peel and chop onions.

Garlic peel and finely chop.

Wash fennel, clean, store green and cut fennel into small cubes.

Heat half of oil.

Let the fruit and mussels drain and bake for about 2 minutes in a pan.

Remove from pan on plate.

Put the rest of oil in the same pan.

Bake onions and fennel for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Stir in garlic, oregano and rice, stirring for about 1 minute.

Add 1/2 liter of water and bring to the boil.
-
Top up the bouillon tablet.

Cook the rice over low heat for about 15 minutes.

Mussels, fruits de mer and ouzo by making rice, covered for another 5 minutes.

Pilaf to taste with salt and pepper, garnish with fennel green.

Delicious with a bunch-tomato salad or oven baked in the oven..
