Sour meat


A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, beefed beef, salt and freshly ground pepper, white wine vinegar, bay leaf, cloves, onions, butter, apple syrup, gingerbread and potato flour.

Directions

  1. Bovine beef cut large pieces and sprinkle with salt and pepper. In a bowl mix vinegar with 3 dl water, bay leaf and cloves and flesh through it. Place the meat covered in the fridge for at least 12 hours.
  2. Peel onions and cut into rings. Remove the meat from the marinade and pat dry with kitchen paper; save marinade. Heat butter in a frying pan and bake browned browns. Add meat and fry around brown. Add the syrup, gingerbread and half of the marinade to the meat and let it cook completely covered for about 3 hours. Meat must be so cooked that it falls apart. (If required, lightly bond the sauce by stirring the potato flour in a bowl with a few tablespoons of cooled cooking liquid and by mixing the meat.) Season with salt and pepper. Serve with mashed potatoes.
