Spicy Christmas wine
Let the wine with the zest and juice of the orange, the cane sugar (more or less to taste), cloves, star anise and the cinnamon stick simmer for about 15 minutes on a low setting. Make sure the wine does not boil.
Strain the wine so that the spices remain. Pour the wine warm in glasses and garnish with a piece of orange peel.
Or store the wine in a sterilized bottle in the refrigerator and heat the wine just before serving.
