Spicy noodle soup with steak and bok choy


A nice Chinese recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, chilled sereh lemongrass.

Directions

  1. Cut the steak into very thin slices and allow to come to room temperature. Clean pepper, remove seed strips, and cut into strips.
  2. Brush the onions and cut them into 3 cm sections. Cut the stem lemongrass.
  3. In pan, bring the water with bouillon tablets, pepper strips, spring onions and lemongrass to the boil and let it gently simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. In the meantime, boil udon noodles in approx. 6 minutes in another pan with plenty of boiling water and salt. Drain noodles in colander.
  5. Rinse Shanghai paksoi and dry. Remove stems from shrubs and place in stock.
  6. Broth back to the boil and let paksoi shrink in about 2-3 minutes. Season the soup with soy sauce. remove lemongrass.
  7. Place noodles and slices of meat in the wide soup bowls or deep plates. Prepare hot stock with paksoi.
  8. Serve immediately, with Chinese chopsticks.
