Sprout cake with smoked mackerel
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, Brussels sprouts ((500 g), cleaned), slices of butter puff pastry ((frozen), thawed), eggs, sour cream (125 ml) and smoked mackerel (cleaned and in pieces).

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C. Boil the sprouts for 5 minutes in water with salt. Meanwhile, cover the spring form with the puff pastry and use a fork to poke holes in the bottom.

Beat the eggs with the sour cream and pepper and salt. Divide the sprouts with the mackerel over the puff pastry base. Pour the egg mixture over it and bake for about 40 minutes in the middle of the oven until golden brown and done.

Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve the cake with a mixed salad.
