Steamed shanghai paksoi with ginger dressing


A nice Chinese recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: Shanghai paksoi, fresh ginger root (finely chopped), rice vinegar (or white wine vinegar), light soy sauce, sesame oil and dried chilli pepper from the mill.

Directions

  1. Wash paksoi in plenty of water, dab dry and shreds halfway in length.
  2. Place package halves next to each other on a plate.
  3. Place plate with paksoi in steamer or on rack in wok with low boiling water.
  4. Cook in 6-8 min.
  5. Covered steamed.
  6. In a bowl, mix together ginger, vinegar, soy sauce and sesame oil.
  7. Remove the pan from the pan, drain it if necessary.
  8. Sprinkle ginger dressing over it and grind chili pepper to taste above it.
  9. Tasty with stir-fried beef and noodles..
