Stew red onion with smoked sausage
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, potatoes (floury), salt and pepper, red onions, smoked sausage (375 g), low-fat bacon cubes (duobakje, a ca. 250 g), vegted prunes (a 250 g), milk and ginger syrup.

Peel potatoes, wash and cut into pieces and boil with salt in about 20 minutes.

Peel onions and cut into rings.

Smoke sausage according to the instructions for use.

Bake bacon in a large frying pan for about 4 minutes.

Add onions and gently fry approx.

10 minutes.

In the meantime, cut prunes into pieces.

Drain potatoes and make puree with milk.

Prepare bacon, onion and prunes.

Season with salt, pepper and ginger syrup.
