Stew with endive and toppings
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, potatoes (crumbly, peeled), whipped cream, sliced endives, Dutch (meatballs), bacon, cumin (in tiny blocks) and croutons.

Boil the potatoes in water with salt in about 20 minutes until done. Drain the potatoes and shake well, so that some moisture evaporates.

Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Pour the cream into the potatoes, bring it to a boil. Remove the pan from the heat and crush the potatoes. Prepare the endive part by section. Season the stew with salt and nutmeg.

Divide the stew over 3 small ovenproof dishes. Place the meatballs on a dish. Spread the slices of bacon over the second dish. Mix the cheese with the croutons and sprinkle over the third dish.

Place the dishes on the rack in the middle of the oven and let the stew get warm and light brown in about 15 minutes.
