Peel the potatoes, cut into pieces and simmer for 20 minutes. Chop the onion and cook for the last 10 minutes with the potatoes.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the meat strips in 10 minutes. Heat the garden peas according to the instructions on the package.

Drain the potatoes and puree with the milk.

Keep a few sprigs of watercress behind and scoop the rest of the watercress and garden peas through the mash. Let heat for 1 min.

Season the stew with salt and pepper. Divide the plates. Spoon the stir fry strips on top and garnish with the retained watercress.
