Stewed chicken in broth
A tasty Dutch recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: poultry, chicken broth (from tablet), winter carrot (in slices), chicken fillets (about 350 g), garden peas (frozen, 450 g), lentils (425 g), crème fraiche and Dijon mustard.

Bring boil to the boil.

Add carrot slices and cook for 1 min.

Sprinkle the chicken with salt and pepper and place in stock.

Boil gently for 5 minutes.

Then add peas and heat together for another 7-10 minutes against the boil.

Meanwhile, rinse lentils in the sieve under cold running water and let it drain.

Heat up lentils gently in saucepan.

Season with salt and pepper.

In a bowl mix crème fraîche with mustard and salt and pepper to taste.

Spread chicken and vegetables over four warm deep plates with a skimmer.

Prepare lentils.

Add a soup spoon of broth to each plate.

Give mustard sauce separately..
