Super fast sprouts
Vegetarian Dutch recipe with sprouts, garlic, thyme, red pepper and lemon.

Cut the sprouts into slices of approx. 2 mm or cut them onto the fine slicing disc of a food processor.

Chop the garlic and take the leaves from the thyme.

Heat a pan on medium heat, melt the butter in it. Stir in garlic and thyme and fry for a few minutes or until garlic is light golden brown.

Meanwhile cut the stalk of the red pepper. Halve the pepper in the length and remove the seed lists with a sharp knife. Cut the pepper finely.

Clean the lemon. Grate the yellow skin of the lemon.

Add the sprouts, red pepper and yellow grater to the mixture in the pan and season with salt and pepper.

Put the lid on the pan and cook for 3 minutes or until the sprouts start to soften. Remove the lid and bake for another 1 min.

Add lemon juice to taste, spoon and serve.
