A tasty Italian recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: olive oil, celery (in slices), red peppers (in pieces of 2 cm), garlic (finely chopped), tomato cubes (a 400 g), sugar and chili pepper (mill 26 g).

Directions

  1. Heat the oil and fry the celery and pepper for 5 minutes. Turn down the heat and fry the garlic for 1 min. Add the tomato and add 150 ml of water. Cook gently for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the sugar. Puree the sauce with the hand blender. Season with hot pepper and salt. You can prepare this sauce 1 day in advance. Keep covered in the refrigerator.
