Tomato spinach sauce
A tasty Italian recipe. The vegetarian side dish contains the following ingredients: olive oil, onions (chopped), garlic (finely chopped), peeled tomatoes (a 400 g), vegetable stock tablet, spinach (450 g, frozen) and butter (diced).

Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the onion for 4 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for another 1 min. Add the tomato and cook for 3 minutes. Puree the sauce with the hand blender.

Add the bouillon tablet and the frozen spinach. Heat on low heat in about 10 minutes. Add the butter and season with salt and pepper. You can prepare this sauce 1 day in advance. Keep covered in the refrigerator.
