Heat the oil in a (soup) pan and fry the potatoes for 5 minutes on medium heat. Change regularly.

Meanwhile cut the smoked sausage into slices and add to the potato together with the vegetables, passata and water.

Bring to the boil and cook for 10 minutes on medium heat with the lid tilted on the pan. Stir frequently.

In the meantime, cut the basil into strips. Season the soup with pepper and salt. Distribute over the bowls and sprinkle with the basil.
