Wild salmon fillet in dill cream sauce

A delicious scandinavian recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: fish, solid potatoes, cucumbers, white wine vinegar, wild salmon fillet ((bag 750 g, frozen), thawed), olive oil, onion (finely chopped), crème fraîche (125 ml) and dried dill.

Directions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into pieces. Boil in little water with salt in 20 minutes until done. Meanwhile cut the cucumbers into slices and prepare with the vinegar. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Dab the salmon dry with kitchen paper and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the salmon on each side for 2-3 minutes just until done.
  3. Remove the fish from the pan and keep warm under a lid or aluminum foil. Fry the onion 4 minutes in the shortening. Stir in the crème fraiche and the dill. Heat the sauce for 2 minutes on low heat and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Divide the sauce and the fish over 4 plates. Serve with the potatoes and the cucumber salad.
