Wraps with Greek gyros salad and white rice


A nice Greek recipe. The main course contains the following ingredients: meat, oil, gyro strips, (red) onions (finely chopped), zucchini (diced), white rice, wrapt tortillas (280 g), garlic sauce, bush endive (coarsely cut), white cheese cubes and black olives without pit (in rings).

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the gyros strips in 3 minutes brown. Add the onion and zucchini and fry for 5 minutes, scoop occasionally. Season with salt and (freshly ground) pepper.
  2. Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package and then scoop it through the gyro strips. Keep the rice warm with the meat on low heat.
  3. Prick a hole in the packaging of the tortillas and heat them for 30 seconds at full power (700 watts) in the microwave.
  4. Spread the tortillas thinly with 4 tbsp garlic sauce. Divide the endive over the tortillas and add the gyros-rice mixture. Sprinkle with the cheese and olive rings.
  5. Roll up the tortillas tightly and serve them immediately. Add the rest of the garlic sauce as a dip.
