Ingredients
Directions
-
Sift the flour over a large bowl. Make a well in the middle and put in the salt, egg and sunflower oil.
-
Stir the dough from the outside to the inside a few times with a whisk and add the beer while stirring.
-
Cover the bowl with a clean tea towel and leave to rest for 1 hour in a warm, draft-free place.
-
Heat the oil in the deep fryer or large pan to 180 ºC. If necessary, check the temperature with the kitchen thermometer.
-
Split the eggs and whisk the egg whites. Carefully scoop them through the batter.
-
Squeeze out the lemon. Peel the apples and remove the core with the apple drill.
-
Cut the apples into 5 equal slices each. Drizzle with lemon juice to prevent discoloration and sprinkle with the cinnamon.
-
Pour the slices of apple through the batter, drain and put in the fryer. Fry in portions in 5 min. Golden brown. Turn halfway.
-
Drain the fritters on kitchen paper and sprinkle with icing sugar.
